Poland finally unbolts giant Catholic shrine

Presenting a nice gift to the Catholic population on the Independence Day, the Polish government has unbolted a giant Catholic shrine in Warsaw.The plan to construct this church was initially proposed in 1792- around two centuries before. But, the construction of this religious centre was stalled due to the Russian invasion and two world wars.The process of construction of this temple had resumed in 2003. The authorities accumulated over fifty million Euros for the construction process from the common public.It is said that Poland is one of the highly religious country in the Europe. It has a large Roman Catholic population. Still, the church influences the social and political affairs of the country.

Notably, the Polish Prime Minister, Beata Szydlo, and the Polish President, Andrzej Duda, have attended the inaugural mass organized in the church.Apart from them, several other top personalities and common people have participated in the function.It is learned that the construction process of the church is not yet finished completely. It needs nearly seven million Euros to finish the construction process successfully.Meanwhile, some liberal groups mocked at the giant building by calling it as the giant lemon juicer. Actually, the structure of the giant church exactly resembles lemon juicer. However, this huge building includes giant hall, museum and much more.It seems that the polish government has finally fulfilled the two hundred year dream of the Polish population.As long as the church influences Polish population, we can expect these kinds of gimmicks from the Polish politicians, opined a political expert.
