‘Quieter Diwali’ fails to contribute ‘Huge Impact’ in South

Not a single Diwali celebrated in the recent past in the country have been much quieter than this year’s.

Unfortunately, the reports indicate that the quieter Diwali has not contributed the desired output in the South.

When Delhi’s pollution index has remained unchanged in this Diwali, the country has witnessed a tough competition between the pollution percentages of the three major South Indian metro cities –Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad- to reach up to the level of the capital city.

Chennai has somehow managed to accomplish the target with the help of the enthusiastic festival lovers living in the city region.

The increase in the concentration of the pollutants in the atmosphere is the prime reason behind the rapid rise in the respiratory ailments among the South Indian city dwellers.

An expert says that this year the pollution rate has been much higher in Chennai than it was last year.

It is to be noted that the metro cities located in the South region have this time showed less sensitiveness about the aftereffects of the rise in the substance particles in the atmosphere than their counterparts in the North region.

It seems that those living in the south should show more empathy towards the ailing respiratory patients, and should behave more responsibly in the sensitive matters like the pollution.
