Legendary Indian actress Sridevi, who was once considered as the queen of Indian film industry, has died of cardiac arrest last day in Dubai where she went to attend the wedding ceremony of her nephew.
She acted in almost each and every Indian film industry. The quintessential actors, who was actually from the Indian State of Tamil Nadu, not only excelled in Tamil films but also grabbed appriciations from the audience of Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films, as well as Hindi films (Bollywood films).
She is survived by her husband, Boney Kapoor, and her daughter, Jhanvi and Khushi. For the Indian film Industry community and for Sridevi’s fans, her unexpected demise was a shock.
The actor’s mortal remains, which was expected to reach Indian last day, has not been released yet by the Dubai authority.
As per the latest report, her mortal remains is likely to reach today afternoon, most probably by 2 PM.
Reliance Communication chairman Anil Ambani has sent a private aircraft to bring back the mortal remains of the actress to the country.
Tens of thousands of the actress’ fans have gathered outside the house of the actress to pay a final adieu to their beloved ‘queen’.
