Rajasthan set to embrace industry-friendly-budget

Expecting a major revamp in the economic structure of Rajasthan, CM Vasundhara Raje on last day presented an industry-friendly-budget in the state assembly. It is learned that the budget is targeting on investment generation and employment creation in the ailing rural regions of the state. At the same time, it has provided ample suggestions to bring down the budget deficit. Experts claim that the budget has delivered enough relaxations to the industrial sector and is promoting new industries. In order to create an investment-friendly atmosphere, some items have been awarded with remarkable reduction in their entry tax. Interestingly, those start-up companies which had taken loans up to ten lakh for establishing the business were exempted from the burden of stamp duty. As an attempt to promote Agro-based industries, the government is planning to organise a global Agri-Tec meet in coming November. Meanwhile, the government announces admirable provisions to promote and encourage the women entrepreneurship culture in the state. Even though the budget has earmarked countless relaxations for the conglomerates, it has not omitted the marginalised sectors of the state. It is said that the government is expected to promote those industries which is being run by the marginalised community persons like SC and ST person. However, the opposition, Congress party, criticised the Rajasthan budget and called it a pro-industry dosser. It alleges that the most awaited budget is mocking at the ailing peoples in the society like farmers and job-less youth.
