Saudi, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt break all ties with Qatar

A severe diplomatic tension has developed in the Arabia’s oil and gas rich region, as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt have severed all diplomatic ties with Qatar accusing the small peninsula of providing financial assistance to certain organisations which are classified as terror organisations by the Saudi and Western forces. According to the report, the Saudi-led faction, which is one of the powerful factions in the Arabian region, has called off the air, land and sea services and has aggressively taken initiative to tightly seal these transportation channels. Moreover, as per the report, a short notice has been served to the Qatar’s citizens and diplomats living and working in those countries which maintain a close relation with the Saudi faction asking them to leave the country as early as possible. It is learned that similar notice has been given to the offices of Doha-based TV channel Al Jazeera functioning in these countries. At this movement, the reason for such a swift diplomatic issue is not known. But, it is apparent that Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia has something to do with this crisis. Surprisingly, Sudan has stepped into the heels as a mediator to find a solution to the crisis which if not resolved will adversely affect the stability of the region. Anyway, the crisis also creates confusion among the large Indian diaspora living in this region. As per the latest report, the local residents of Qatar has started stockpiling the food materials due to the apprehension that the crisis might lead to a severe food material shortage as this country is largely depended on the neighbors for their food requirements. It seems that Iran might use this opportunity and export food materials to this region.
