Shock! Shakespeare had a co-writer

Contradicting to whatever we all learned during our high school English Literature classes, now a group of researchers found that Christopher Marlowe was a co-writer of the renowned play writer, Shakespeare. As per the report, the Oxford University, at last, decided to give credits to the unpopular writer along with his popular friend, Shakespeare, for his works. In the new Oxford press edition of Henry VI, both of them will appear on the title page. Earlier, this page was completely occupied by the Shakespeare’s picture. Some researchers strongly believe that some of the works written by the Victorian play writer were partially or fully written by his co-writers. Now, in the latest findings, the researchers have clearly identified the contributions given by Marlowe. Why he is given credits to the work because the relevance of his contributions is worth beyond a mere influence or attribution.

It is said that the researchers clearly noticed the idea and threads contributed by the co-author. This is the first time that the writer of the renowned play, ‘Doctor Faustus’, is getting a credit for his contributions in the Shakespeare’s plays. In a research report, it is identified that nearly seventeen of the forty-four plays written by the great writer, Shakespeare, was originally either written or co-written by the, so called, co-authors. The research group doing the detailed research on the Shakespeare’s play consists of nearly twenty-three internationally acclaimed scholars. The researchers use traditional as well as modern technics like computerized tools in their research. Earlier also, several high profile personalities like Charlie Chaplin have voiced doubt about the authorship of the Shakespeare. Some claim that the acclaimed writer does not even write a single play in his lifetime.
