Singapore companies illegally send luxury goods to NK: UN report

As per a leaked draft United Nations report, two companies based in Singapore, the country which supports the ban imposed by the UN in the supply of some kinds of goods, including luxury goods, to North Korea, have sent luxury goods to Pyongyang illegally.

As per the latest updates from the United Nations headquarters, the final report on this issue has been submitted before the UN Security Council.

When asked about this issue, the Singapore government source has responded to an International media house that the government is investigating the matter seriously.

Though the initial sign of a potential withdrawal of the strict sanction imposed upon the iron curtain country in the Korean peninsula by the UN has emerged with the friendly response shown by the US towards the NK’s willingness for a talk with the west conveyed through the South Korean delegates who visited the neighbour accepting the invitation of the NK delegation which had visited PyongChang during the Winter Olympics, the sanctions which the North Korean regime is currently suffering is likely to continue until a formal agreement is reached.

Meanwhile, if it is found that what is said in the draft report is true, it will expose the flaws in the UN sanction.

Earlier, there were reports that the North Korean regime was doing business with the Syrian regime illegally, despite severe sanctions.
