Stan Lee: Spider-Man, X-Men and Avengers co-creator dies aged 95

American comic book writer and Marvel Comics co-creator Stan Lee took his last breath on Monday aged 95. Someone who held an obligation to his fans to keep creating. An irreplaceable creative soul was Lee.

Born as Stanley Martin Lieber in Manhattan, he is credited with co-creating several fictional characters including the Hulk, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange. Iron Man, The X Men and Thor. Lee was also appreciated for making cameo appearances in Marvel Comic Universe films including The Avengers.
Lee was teamed up with artists like Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, revitalised the comics with his superheroes. He just brought the most complex emotional life to cartoon characters. Lee kept multiple stories going at the same time, as a writer and editor.
