Turkey allows CIA to verify audio evidence that connects Saudi to Khashoggi’s murder

The Turkish government has allowed the director of Central Intelligence Agency, Gina Haspel, to verify the audio evidence that connects the Saudi Arabia to the alleged brutal murder of Journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The United States, which has responded to the killing of the Journalist in the harshest words it has ever used against the Saudi, is expected to take severe action against the Kingdom, as the Turkish government have managed to convince the US that what has happened inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul was a brutal murder and what that followed was a condemnable cover-up operation.

Several European countries including the UK and Germany have already condemned the way the Saudi has handled the issue.

Meanwhile, the Saudis are still of the stand that the crime was committed by some rogue intelligence officials and no senior leader of the Kingdome including the Crown Prince were aware of the murder.

A Saudi official, who has requested not to be named, has disclosed that the journalist was killed due to a chokehold, which was executed when he prevented the intelligence officials’ effort to take him back to the Kingdom. He has added that the journalist’s body was given to a local person to dispose off.
