The Donald Trump-led White House, which is extremely unhappy with the direction towards which the impeachment inquiry against the US President progresses, has inappropriately questioned the loyalty of Lt Col Alexander Vindman, who has testified against the President before the inquiry committee.
Lt Col Vindman is the one who overheard the controversial conversation between the US President and his Ukrainian counterpart.
Before the inquiry committee, he has spoken in support of the charges against the President that the US Supremo misused his constitutional position to pursue Ukraine to launch an investigation against his political rival, Joe Biden.
Mr. Vindman has strongly denounced the statement that has questioned his loyalty towards his country.
Many have come forward to support the brave military officer, who has successfully resisted the indirect pressure imposed over him by his country’s government.
Mr. Vindman is not the only official who has testified against the President. Several officials have come out openly against the President. Notably, all of them have been denounced by the White House in the same language that they have used against Mr. Vindman.
