A white police officer has shot dead an innocent black lady in her home in Texas. The police have released the video footage of the incident. The police have tried to defend the act of their man by saying that the officer perceived a threat when he pulled out his weapon.
The police was called into the venue by the neighbour of the victim, who noticed certain unusual things.
The lady was with her little nephew, when the police reached the venue. The police have shot her through her window.
As per the police’s account, she has been given immediate medical attention though she has died on the spot.
The victim lawyer has strongly criticised the police. He said his client was brutally killed for no reason.
The death of the lady has come a few days after another white policeman similarly killed a black man.
However, the police officer has been put under administrative leave. The status is less likely to be revoked until the investigation about the killing is over.
The repetition of such incidents brings shame to the entire police department of the US.
