Pointing out the reality that the media houses have largely ignored the allegations raised by the Congress party emphasising the India Prime Minister’s involvement in the Rafale fighter aircraft deal, Congress scion Rahul Gandhi has questioned the inactiveness the reporters are showing to follow up the story related to the tainted deal, asking ‘why don’t you question PM Narendra Modi over the infamous deal’.

The question has been raised in a press conference organised at the Congress headquarters where he has come today to meet the office bearers of the All India Unorganised Workers Congress.

The Congress earlier alleged that the PM Modi led BJP government changed the Rafale deal in a way a businessman who is close to the regime gets to benefit from the deal.

Under the deal, the government is planning to buy nearly thirty-six Rafale fighter aircrafts from a company based in France, which has collaboration with an Indian company owned by a businessman who is close to the NDA regime.

Anyway, the Indian company, which has suffered the attack of the Congress allegations over the deal, has denounced the allegation and warned that they would approach the judicial authorities if those who have triggered the allegation fail to recheck the facts.
