A New Vision for Social Leadership: Dr. Ajit Ravi Introduces Unique Business Club

A vision that places social responsibility at the heart of leadership is being represented through the Unique Business Club (UBC), an initiative of the Federal International Chamber Forum (FICF). Envisioned by Dr. Ajit Ravi, with FICF Chairman Shri Gokulam Gopalan and Patron Shri V. P. Nandakumar, the Unique Business Club seeks to create a community of accomplished individuals united by a common commitment to contribution and social impact. The initiative describes leadership as something that extends beyond professional achievement and towards responsibility to the wider community.

The Unique Business Club is founded on three stated principles — Integrity and Trust, Leadership and Excellence, and Service and Impact. Its mission includes promoting community service, philanthropy, empowerment and global development while fostering trust, collaboration and knowledge exchange among its members. The initiative is designed to bring together people from different professional backgrounds, including entrepreneurs, industrialists, investors, professionals, startup founders and corporate leaders, around a shared purpose of contributing to society.

The social-impact framework of the Unique Business Club places particular emphasis on philanthropy and community welfare. The initiative outlines a voluntary annual contribution of ₹50,000 per member, with 75% directed towards women empowerment, social and sports causes. Its allocation structure also includes charity and community service, UBC programmes and emergency initiatives, alongside financial transparency and audited records. Through its message of Connect, Collaborate, Contribute and Create Impact, the Unique Business Club aims to build a community where collective participation can support empowerment, philanthropy and lasting social development.
