Content management company Box has expanded its partnership with Nvidia, introducing new artificial intelligence tools designed to improve enterprise search capabilities and automate business workflows. The announcement includes a new search engine that helps AI tools retrieve more accurate information from company files, along with a platform that enables teams to create AI-powered workflows.
The new Box Context Retrieval, built using Nvidia’s Nemotron models, is designed to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of AI-powered searches. According to Box, the technology could improve search accuracy by 20%, reduce token usage by 90% and accelerate question-answering processes by four times. The service is expected to become generally available to Enterprise Advanced customers early next year. The company also unveiled Box Architect, a tool that allows teams to create automated workflows simply by describing business processes in plain language. Its beta rollout to Enterprise Advanced customers is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter.
Additionally, Box announced new security features designed to protect businesses against bulk downloads, account takeovers and mass deletion of files. These threat protection capabilities will be made available to Enterprise Advanced and Shield customers early next year. The latest developments highlight Box’s growing focus on integrating AI into enterprise content management while strengthening productivity, workflow automation and data security.
