Transgender Flight Attendant in United Airlines Commercial Dies at 25

Kayleigh Scott, a transgender flight attendant who gained popularity after appearing in a United Airlines commercial, has passed away. The 25-year-old was found dead in her Colorado home after posting an emotional note to her social media channels. In the letter, Scott apologized to those she felt she had let down and expressed her regrets about not being able to be stronger for those she loved. She also named some of her loved ones and said she would see them again on the other side.

Scott’s mother, Andrea Sylvestro, confirmed her daughter’s death after she posted the letter. In a Facebook post, she expressed her pride in Kayleigh and her amazement at everything her daughter had achieved in life. Meanwhile, the Denver Police Department is currently investigating the cause of Scott’s death, with the final determination being made by the Denver Medical Examiner’s office.

United Airlines, for whom Scott worked, expressed its sadness at her passing, stating that they were “incredibly saddened by the tragic loss” and extending their condolences to her family, friends, and coworkers.
