Boeing Secures $8.6 Billion Pentagon Contract for F-15 Jets for Israel

Boeing has been awarded an $8.6 billion contract to supply advanced F-15IA fighter aircraft to Israel, the Pentagon announced on Monday, shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida. The deal covers the design, testing, production, and delivery of 25 new F-15IA jets for the Israeli Air Force, with an option to purchase an additional 25 aircraft.

According to the Pentagon, the agreement falls under the U.S. foreign military sales program and reinforces Washington’s long-standing position as Israel’s primary defense supplier. The announcement comes despite ongoing protests across the United States by pro-Palestinian and anti-war groups calling for an end to U.S. military support for Israel over the conflict in Gaza — demands that have not shifted policy under either the Trump or Biden administrations.

Work on the aircraft will be carried out in St. Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 2035, the Pentagon said. The F-15IA fleet is expected to significantly bolster Israel’s aerial capabilities as part of its broader strategic defense modernization efforts.
