Clearly indicating that Chinese President Xi Jinping is likely to consolidate the power in a more effective manner in next five years for which he has been elected to rule roughly a day after his ideologies and thoughts was enshrined in the country’s constitution, the country’s communist party have inducted five new faces in the Politburo Standing Committee, the party’s top governing body which decides how the party should be rules and how the country should be ruled.

Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Li Zhanshu, Wang Yang, Wang Huning, Zhao Leji and Han Zheng are the seven members of the standing committing.

In this standing coming, Mr Jinping and Mr Keqiang are the leaders who have secured a second term as the standing committee member.

The interesting fact is that there is no one in the newly inducted standing committee which can be projected as the future leader or the possible successor of Xi.

The political developments in the party clearly indicate that the Chinese supremo may seek another five-year term in the year 2022, the year in which his current regime will expire.

Earlier, there were speculations that the president would announce either his protégé -Chen Miner- or Guangdong party secretary Hu Chunhua as his successor.
