The Chinese Communist Party Congress, the most awaited event of the year, has begun in Beijing.

At the end of the event, the party will declare the next generation leaders (that is the members of the Politburo Standing Committee).

In the event, the members will discuss the economic policy and political policy of the country where all kinds of political dissent are indirectly banned and, sometime, brutally suppressed.

Marking the start of the political event, the Chinese President, Xi Jinping, has done a mesmerising speech.

The socialist modernisation, separatism, economic reform and the country’s foreign policy have been the prime focus of the speech.

In the speech, there have been indications that the Chinese government has successfully accomplished all the goals which the party articulated in the last Congress.

It is said that the Chinese government is trying to articulate a new foreign policy system which is in all ways different from the conventional or western foreign policy framework.

Nearly two thousand delegates have arrived in the capital city to participate in the most important event of the Chinese Communist Party.

The event is likely to end next week. At this moment, it is difficult to predict who will be the future leaders of the party.
