Crowning Glory: Iluza Isyandavletova Wins Miss Asia 2023!

In a vibrant ceremony, Iluza Isyandavletova from Bashkortastan was crowned as the Miss Asia 2023 title holder. Aayushma Bajracharya from Nepal secured the first runner-up position while Cerena Ann Johnson from the UAE and Jinnapat Palsuea from Thailand grabbed the second runner-up and third runner-up positions respectively. The finale took place on November 14th at Le Méridien Hotel, Kochi. The winners were crowned by former Miss Asia winner Nguyen Thi Yen Trang, Sajan Varghese (CMD of SAJ Group Hotels and Resorts), Mini Sajan (CEO of SAJ Group Hotels and Resorts), and Jolly Antony (Chairman of Vibe Munnar). Dr. Ajit Ravi, Chairman of Pegasus, graced the event with his presence.

The judging panel featured esteemed individuals including Rozanne Diasz (Miss Sri Lanka Universe 2005 and Grooming instructor), Mr. Alonkot Sungkahapong (CEO, Starfighter), Dr. Mahima Bhakshi (Model & Entrepreneur), Harmeet Singh Gupta (Managing Director, U&I Entertainment), and Rita Mathan (Owner, Pro Nail Studio).

Out of a multitude of applicants for the Miss Asia pageant, 15 emerged as finalists. Unfortunately, two contestants couldn’t advance to the finals due to unforeseen circumstances, such as visa issues. Thirteen contestants exhibited grace and elegance as they walked the runway. The deserving winners of Miss Asia 2023 were adorned with exquisite gold crowns crafted by Preeti Prakash from Parakkat Jewellers. The competition encompassed three rounds: the National Costume Round, the White Cocktail Round, and the Royal Blue Gown Round.

The participants were immersed in a transformative grooming experience orchestrated by Pegasus, an esteemed organization devoted to nurturing the development of young talents and spotlighting their modeling careers and capabilities on a global scale. Pegasus, unwavering in its dedication to empowering emerging talents, assumed a central role in refining and elevating the skills of the contestants, ensuring they were thoroughly prepared for the international stage. Through these enriching grooming sessions, Pegasus exemplifies its mission to furnish a platform for aspiring individuals, allowing them to step forward with confidence and leave an indelible mark in the realm of modeling and talent. This competition is also aimed to showcase the diverse cultural heritage and rich values of the participating countries while promoting tourism.
