Eric Trump, son of former President Donald Trump, recently voiced his disdain for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, suggesting that they could be deported from the US if his father wins the upcoming presidential election. In an interview with GB News, Eric Trump remarked, “You can happily have those two [Meghan and Harry] back. We’ll happily send them back from America.” He further disparaged Meghan Markle’s Hollywood career, labeling her a “spoiled apple” and critiquing her past as a “bad actor.”
Eric Trump also expressed his admiration for the late Queen Elizabeth II, recalling his father’s respectful interactions with her during his presidency. He shared that his late mother, Ivana Trump, had a positive relationship with Princess Diana. Despite these personal connections, Eric Trump’s recent comments reflect a broader trend of criticism from the Trump family toward the royal couple.
The Trump family’s animosity toward Harry and Meghan is not new. Donald Trump has previously criticized Meghan Markle as “disrespectful” and questioned Harry’s suitability to remain in the US, particularly in light of revelations from Harry’s memoir, Spare. This stance aligns with Donald Trump’s past comments, where he predicted the couple’s marriage would end poorly and called Harry an “embarrassment” for “betraying the queen.”
