Intolerant Communist China

China’s attitude towards religious minorities always contradicts its effort to project itself as a highly tolerant nation. It is not only intolerant to religious minorities, but also determinant to make them bow down before the communist ideologies this Asian giant follows.

The existence of political re-education camps in the country clearly indicates how dedicated they are in the herculean task of eliminating all believes and ideologies, other than the ideology of communism.

As per a rough estimate, there are nearly 3 million people in these camps at present. Sadly, most of them are the members of Uighur community.

Recently, a woman camp survivor, Mihrigul Tursun, has exposed how brutal these camps are. She told the world that she was subjected to physical torture, mental stress and humiliation when she was in one of these camps. The revelation has shocked the world.

Actually, China does not recognise the existence of these camps. It is of the opinion that the camps referred are not for the purpose of political re-education, but for the purpose of skill education.

If there are such camps in the world’s most powerful communist country, they are to be stopped. Injecting a political ideology is a serious crime, so all those who are involved in that task must be punished.

Why China is intolerant towards the minorities?
