President Joe Biden stated that there will be enough coronavirus vaccines for every adult in the US by the end of May. He also announced that he would prioritize teachers in the vaccination plans, affirming more on returning students to classrooms amid a confusing administration stance on reopening of schools.
The new date doesn’t mean that all Americans will receive their shots by May 31st, due to issues with its distribution and personnel means it might take longer. While the infections and deaths have declined in recent weeks in the US, they are still high compared to other countries.
