The third season of the ‘Manappuram Miss Asia 2017’, the International beauty contest organised by Ajit Ravi (the founder and chairman of Pegasus Event Production Company) to find the most beautiful and talented Asian and Eurasian woman, is going to take place in Gokulam Convention Centre, Kochi, on 21st November at 6 PM.
Nearly twenty-one beautiful women, hailing from different countries located in Asia and Eurasian region, will participate in the prestigious beauty contest, which is presented by the Manappuram Finance Limited.
Cera, Dque watches, T-Shine and Unique Times Magazine are the prime partners of the event directed by Mr Ajit Ravi.
Miss Queen of India winner Akanksha Mishra will represent India in the International beauty contest in which the beauties from Bangladesh, Bashkortostan, Bhutan, China, Indonesia, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Tatarstan, Tibet, the United Kingdom and Vietnam will contest for the title.
There will be three rounds in the event: National costume, Black theme and White gown.
The grooming session, which is handled by Aileena Catherin Amon (2015 Miss South India), Sameer Khan (Fashion choreographer), Reji Bhaskar (Fashion photographer), Dr. Asha Biju (Skin expert), Sudakshana Thambi (Yoga trainer), Dr. Eldo Koshi (Smile expert), Jaseena Backer (Personality trainer) and Vipin Xavier (Fitness trainer) has begun last day at Beaumonde The Fern in Kochi.
In the judging panel of this much-awaited event, there will be several eminent personalities, who have proven their talents in several International and national platforms of fashion, cinema and modelling
The Miss Asia winner will get a huge cash price of three lakh Indian rupees, the first runner-up and second runner-up will receive one and a half lakh Indian rupees and one lakh Indian rupees respectively. The winners will also get the gold-plated crowns designed by the Parakkat Jewellers.
The prize money for the winner is gifted by the Manappuram Finance Limited, while the prize money for the first runner-up and second runner-up are given by the Unique Times Magazine and WOW Factor respectively.
Apart from the winners, the judging panel will also select Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beautiful Hair, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Talented, Miss Personality, Miss Cat Walk, Miss Photogenic, Miss Viewers’ Choice, Miss Perfect Ten, Miss Congeniality, Miss Social Media and Best National Costume.
The infamous bikini round, which encourages the wrong practice of objectification of the women’s body, is excluded from all beauty contest organised by Mr Ajit, including this.
The Pegasus Chairman, who aims to give awareness against breast cancer through this event, has said that the organisation will contribute an amount, which is equivalent to the money offered to the title winner, to those poor patients, who are in need of financial assistance for their treatment purpose, under the ‘100 Life Challenge’ scheme.
