Putting the life of people in an uncomfortable situation, at least three serious tremors have jolted Myanmar today.
The first one, which has marked a magnitude of 6.0, has been felt in the Bago region in the early hours of morning today.
The second and third tremors have occurred a few minutes after the first one, and they has been less severe than the first one.
The information regarding the tremors has been publicised by the Meteorology and Hydrology Department.
As per the report, almost each and every region of the country has felt some effect of the tremor. Yangon, Taungoo, Phyu, Pyi and Nay Pyi Taw are the cities on which the natural disaster has inflicted more serious injuries.
A local media have reported that the epicenter of the tremor has been a region located around 27.3 KM away from the Bago region.
Fortunately, no causalities have been reported. There are reports that the tremor has inflicted serious damages in the infrastructure of some regions located in the country.
It is learned that the disaster management system has been advised to stay vigilant by the authorities.
