Trump Says Only ‘Unconditional Surrender’ Will Lead to Deal with Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump declared that there will be no agreement with Iran unless the country agrees to “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER,” in a strongly worded message posted on the social media platform Truth Social on Friday. The statement marks one of the most uncompromising positions from the former president amid ongoing tensions between Washington and Tehran.

In his post, Trump wrote that after Iran’s surrender and the selection of a “great and acceptable leader or leaders,” the United States and its allies would help the country recover economically. He said the U.S., along with “very brave allies and partners,” would work to rebuild Iran and bring it back from what he described as the brink of destruction.

Trump also suggested that future Iranian leadership must be acceptable to the United States, reiterating remarks he has made several times in recent weeks. Concluding his message with the slogan “Make Iran Great Again (MIGA!),” he claimed that Iran could have a prosperous future if it agrees to the terms he outlined.
