A woman was arrested on Sunday after allegedly firing multiple gunshots at the Beverly Hills residence of pop superstar Rihanna, according to officials from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). Police responded to reports of shots fired at around 1:15 p.m. and arrived to find evidence of gunfire at the property. Authorities later located the suspect, a woman believed to be in her 30s, and took her into custody without further incident.
Investigators say the suspect parked her vehicle outside the singer’s home, fired seven shots, and then fled the scene. The woman was later tracked down at the Sherman Oaks Galleria, approximately eight miles away, where officers arrested her. Her vehicle, identified as a white Tesla Model 3, was also recovered at the shopping center. Police confirmed that the weapon used in the incident was recovered and that seven assault rifle casings were found near the residence.
No injuries were reported, and it remains unclear whether anyone was inside the home at the time of the shooting. Aerial footage from local media showed several bullet holes in the gate outside the property as detectives continued their investigation. Rihanna rose to global fame in the early 2000s with hits such as “Pon de Replay” and “Umbrella,” and has since built a global business empire through her Fenty brand. She shares three children with rapper A$AP Rocky.
